We are @ the corner of Lincoln & Emlen St: Enter on Emlen.

After a 3 year hiatus, we are back with some Special Events listed below. Philadelphia Open Studio Tours is hosted by Center for the Emerging Visual Artists. Visit POST Directory to see my page and full list of Artists & Community Members participating.

•Please stop by the studio & house during POST hours Sat & Sun 12 - 6pm to see my studio, ceramic sculpture, tableware and Pierre Trombert’s new drawings, cartoons and catch a scheduled reading from one of his 3 manuscripts.

•Enter through Studio Entrance marked with posters & balloons on ground floor. Come upstairs to see sculpture, tableware, drawings on1st floor. The pit-firing will be on the lower level of the back yard.

SPECIAL EVENTS:

Sat Oct 21st:

•Readings: Join Pierre’s 15 minute readings scheduled 2pm, 3pm & 4pm and by request. Take a seat and be transported by his charming, tender and hilarious memoirs from France, NYC to Philly. He will be reading from: C’est la Vie, A Frog in America and The Yesterdays of Tomorrow.

•Reception 4 - 6pm: Come by for some refreshments, tour the studio and be here at 5:30pm to watch us lay the pit for the pit-firing and light it at 6pm.

•Pit-Firing 6 - 9pm: Gather round the fire as the flames & fume paint the ceramic in this community event and primitive outdoor firing for a magical autumn night. The pit will be sealed with a steel lid overnight. Visit link to see pit-fire slideshow.

Sun Oct 22nd:

•Pit-Fire Reveal 12 - 1pm: Watch as we excavate the warm ceramic from the ashes for a surprising reveal and share of the results.
